Who We Are

The Ogwashi-Uku Association USA Inc. is a non-partisan, non-profit 501c(3) national organization with membership from Ogwashians and those interested in the affairs and welfare of Delta State in Nigeria and its citizens.

Our Founding

This Association was first conceived as a socio-cultural group for the welfare of the Ogwashi-Uku people in America on July 1st 2000, in Maryland. On that day, some of the sons and daughters of Adaigbo in America converged in College Park Maryland under my leadership as the President of the then Ogwashi-Uku Progressive Union and decided to form the Association known today as Ogwashi-Uku Association U.S.A, Incorporated.
